Music Takeaway: Who Is Your Hero

Music Takeaway: Who Is Your Hero

Our Music Takeaway is extra special this week! Find out more below.

We want everyone to think about heroes and who your heroes are. Over the course of the next few days, we will be uploading a variety of tasks to try and want to get as many people as possible involved with writing a song, including our music teachers and wonderful local musicians!

Watch our launch video to find out more:

There will be resources to help with song writing and thinking about creating lyrics. We will also give ideas for developing chord structures, grooves, using different instruments and how to layer and record using music technology. There will also be some questions to encourage young people to develop a careers fact file.

You can find our resources here:

We will be adding things in over the course of the next few days. And as this is a bigger project with many things to do, we are giving you until 5pm on Friday 29th May to respond.

And don’t forget, keep sharing your responses with us on email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or on:
